Biography
Niharika Joshi gained an International Masters in Interior Architecture and Design (with History, Theory and Criticism) from the Faculty of Design , CEPT University, and Istanbul Technical University, Turkey 2016. Her Research Thesis is titled: [ Current State of Interior Design Education in India :An inquiry into content and emphasis across interior design programmes.] Niharika Joshi is an Assistant Professor at SEDA NUVsince January 2017.
Research Interest
Her interest towards the critical analysis of design education led her to work on her undergraduate design thesis titled ‘Designing a Design School: NID Hyderabad.’ She furthered this query through her Matser’s Research Thesis on the ‘current state of interior design education in India’, which questions the relationships between the profession and its educational imperatives today.
