Biography
Manjit Singh Brar was born in 1967 and belongs to the State of Punjab, India. Before doing his post-graduation in Law, he graduated in Commerce with Honours from Punjab University, Chandigarh. He has been working with Government of Punjab since 1993 and has vast administrative experience especially in the areas of Land Administration, Urban Development, Commercial Taxes etc. He also served the Chandigarh Administration for 4 years where he anchored the planning and development of the prestigious Chandigarh Technology Park as well as promoting e-Governance in the Administration with the establishment of common service centres across the Union Territory. Shri Brar became an Indian Administrative Services officer in 2007 of Punjab Cadre. His contribution was recognized twice by Government of India with e-Governance awards in 2008 as well as 2010. Presently serving as the Managing Director of Punjab Milk Federation (MILKFED) since March 2015 and has been credited with speedily ushering in reforms across all verticals.
