Research Interest
Pharmacokinetics and Toxicology: Preclinical safety assessment plays a vital role in the seamless integration of early research to development. Our team of highly motivated, experienced and well-trained scientists have expertise in developing models to screen new entities for pharmacokinetic and toxicology profile. The group supports both the evaluation of candidates in the discovery stage and IND enabling studies, for both large and small molecules in the research pipeline. Pharmacodynamics: Our team of dedicated scientists has expertise in various therapeutic areas which include oncology, immunotherapy, inflammation and pain, providing analysis of both large and small molecules, to support Nektar's pipeline, from preclinical stage to the early development and clinical stages. Capabilities include screening novel chemical and biological entities using various cell based (functional and receptor assays) and ex vivo assays for the identification and optimization of potential lead compounds.
