Biography
Dr. Bansal has received his B.Tech. Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from U.P. Technical University, Lucknow, India, in 2007 and obtained his M. Tech. in Signal Processing from Division of ECE, NSIT, Delhi in 2009. He received his Ph.D. Degree from Department of Electrical Engg., Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, India in 2013. He joined Division of ECE, NSIT as an assistant professor in September, 2013. His main research interests include various wireless communication technologies such as multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO), multi-user based communications, free space optical communications, power line communication, and distributed antenna based cooperative communication technology. Moreover he has published research papers in international journals like IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, and Wireless Personal Communications of Springer. He has also presented papers in various conferences like IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC), IEEE International Conference on Signal Processing & Communications (SPCOM) etc. Dr. Bansal is an active member of IEEE since 2012 and has also served as a reviewer of various IEEE journals and conferences.
