Biography
Dr. Duru Arun Kumar is Associate Professor and Associate Head, Division of Management at NSIT, Delhi. She has M.A. and Ph.D. in Sociology from Bombay University. Besides being a permanent faculty at NSIT, Duru has taught various courses at Bhawan’s College, Mumbai University; Mithibai College, Mumbai University; IIT Delhi, G.B. Pant Engineering college, Delhi; IIIT Delhi;and AGH University, Krakow, Poland. Her primary area of interest is Sociology of Science and Technology. She has presented several research papers in international and national conference. She is on the editorial board of two international journals. Some of the courses taught by her are, Technology and Society, Technical and Business Communication, Industrial Organization, Personnel Management, Principles of Management, Introduction to Sociology, Indian Society, Cultural Anthropology.
