Biography
Dr. Akhilesh A Nimje obtained Diploma in Electrical Engineering in 1994 from Board of Technical Examinations Mumbai. He obtained Bachelor degree in Electronics & Power Engineering in 1997 from Nagpur University and M. Tech in Electrical Power Systems in 2002 from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He completed his PhD in Electrical Engineering in December 2011 from KIIT University, Bhubaneshwar. After completion of M. Tech., he was faculty in School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar from 2002 to 2012. He has also served as Associate Professor in G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering (Autonomous), Nagpur and Guru Nanak Institute of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur till 2016. He was a member of Board of Studies and academic council member, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar and G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur. He received Best Teacher Award from KIIT University on 26th January 2010.
Research Interest
His areas of interests include Rural Electrification, FACTS, Power System Analysis, Distributed Generations and Renewable Energy Sources.
