Biography
Dr. D.M. Adhyaru received PhD degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Control Systems from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 2009. He is associated with Nirma University since 1998. At present, he is Professor and Head of Instrumentation and Control Engineering. Dr. Adhyaru having three years of industrial experience before joining Nirma University. He wrote more than 25 International journal and conference publications. He also wrote one book on Robust control. He has guided several B.Tech. and M.Tech. projects related to Instrumentation and Control engineering. At present, he is guiding five PhD students in the area of Control and Automation. His area of research is Industrial Automation and Soft computing applications in control engineering. Dr. Adhyaru carried out consultancy projects for industries in the area of Process Automation and Product development. He delivered expert talks to several industries. He has carried out many training programmes for industries and academia in the field of Instrumentation and Control engineering. He chaired many technical sessions during International conferences. Dr. Adhyaru also chaired the 4th Nirma University International Conference on Engineering (NUiCONE) 2013 technically co-sponsored by IEEE.
