Biography
Dr. Hasan M Rangwala is an Assistant Professor at Civil Engineering Department, Institute of Technology. He obtained graduation in Civil Engineering from L.D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad, in 2008. He did his M. Tech in Earthquake Engineering With speciation in Soil Dynamics from IIT Roorkee in 2010. He obtained PhD in 2014 from IIT Roorkee. His Doctoral research area was Earthquake Resisting Design of Foundations. He has academic experience of one and a half years at MANIT, Bhopal, prior to joining at the Institute. His research area broadly lies, in Geotechnical Engineering, especially in the Analysis and Design of Foundations and Retaining walls, Dynamic Properties of Soil and Reinforced Earth. He has four papers in international journals and six national/international conference papers to his credit.
