Biography
Prof. Jignesh Patel has 21 years of teaching experience. He is conferred with Institute Silver Medal (Year 2002) at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur for his outstanding performance and Rank#1 in Post Graduate Programme. Prof. Patel has published more than 20 papers in National/International Conferences and Journals. He has visited Costa Rica to attend World Congress on Computers in Agriculture and Natural Resources- 2014. His area of interests are Control Engineering, Process Control and Decision Support Systems. He is very keen to develop and use different pedagogical tools and techniques. Presently working as coordinator of Post Graduate Programme- MTech in Instrumentation and Control (Control and Automation). He is serving as Institute coordinator for Extension Activities. At present he looks after the activities of Centre for Continuing Education, Nirma University. He is I/c Head of CCE. Current Activities : Developing MIMO Process Control Algorithm for coupled nonlinear system Working on development of test set up for concrete characterization using advanced imaging techniques
