Biography
Mehul R. Naik was born in 1967 and did schooling from C. N. Vidyalaya, Ahmedabad; Bachelors of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 1990 from L. D. College of Engineering, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, India; Masters of Engineering in Electrical Engineering in 1993 from Stevens Institute of Technology, New Jersey, USA; and Ph. D. in RF Circuit Design in 2015 from Kadi Sarva VishwaVidyalaya University, Gandhinagar, India. He worked as an RF Design Engineer in Synergy Microwaves Corporation, New Jersey, USA for 4 years and then as a Member of Technical Staff in Bell Labs Lucent Technologies, New Jersey, USA for 11 years; before joining Nirma University, Ahmedabad, India in July 2008 where he currently serves as an Associate Professor in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. He is responsible for the students' internship and placement of the EC department, manages the students' international studies and internship, and also heads the Center for Entrepreneurship. Dr. Naik is a member of IETE, ISTE, and IEEE.
