Dr. Nina Muncherji

Biography

Prof. Muncherji has a Doctoral Degree in Management from Kadi Sarva Vishwavidylaya, Gandhinagar, Post Graduate in Psychology and has also done a Diploma in Training & Development from Indian Society for Training and Development, New Delhi. She is a Certified Personal Profile Ananlysis (PPA) Practitioner by Thomas International Ltd. She has worked as a Research Associate for more than six years in the Organizational Behaviour area at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. She has been with the Institute of Management, Nirma University, Ahmedabad since 1997. Currently, she is the Programme Chairperson for the MBA Integrated Programme. Prof. Muncherji has been a visiting faculty for Organizational Behaviour at several management institutes such as Ahmedabad Management Association, MICA – EDC, Chitkara Business School to name a few. She has taught courses in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, USA. She has visited China, Taiwan, South Korea, Australia, Singapore, USA, Dubai, Hong Kong, Germany, Czech-Republic, and Switzerland on Institute Assignments. She has published several research papers in journals published from India and abroad. Prof. Muncherji has also published a series of Caselets on Management in Times of India (A News Daily), Ahmedabad Edition in 2001. She has written Role Plays, Cases, Teaching Notes and Technical Notes in the area of OB & HRM which have been published by The Case Centre (ECCH), UK. She has co-edited five books. She has been conducting In-house training programmes for Public and Private Sector Organizations like ONGC, IPCL, BPCL, IOCL, L & T, Adani, Birla Copper, Torrent, Torrent Power, Rushil Décor Pvt. Ltd., SPIPA, Gujarat Maritime Board, Zydus, NDDB, JMC Projects, Cadila, Nirlife, Inspiron, Kalpataru, JK Lakshmi Cement, Bank of Baroda, Gandhi Labour Institute, GHCL, AGL Tiles and All India Radio for their Top and Middle Level Managers in the areas of Conflict Management, Decision Making, Leadership, Motivation, Negotiations, Communication Skills, Personality Development & Business Etiquette and Team Building. She has also been a Consultant to ‘Torrent Power’, Ahmedabad and ‘Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT)’, Ahmedabad. She has been delivering talks on Management related topics on All India Radio (AIR), Primary Channel. She received “Outstanding Faculty” Award at Institute of Management, Nirma University, Ahmedabad in 1999. She has been honoured with an Award for ‘Best Professor in Human Resource Management’ by Dewang Mehta Business School Awards in association with Hindustan Unilever Ltd. in 2014. She is passionate about teaching and training and has been engaged in enabling Individuals and Organizations through coaching, training and learning and development. Current Activities : Teaching - MBA Programme; MBA in Family Business & Entrepreneurship; Training - In-house & Open Programmes for Senior & Middle Level Executives for Public & Private Sector Organizations; Research.
