Dr. Niyati Sanjeev Acharya

Biography

I have 14 years of experience in teaching and research in the field of natural products. I am recipient of Dr. P.D. Sethi’s research paper award 2006 on application of analytical techniques and standardization of herbal drugs. I have more than 28 research papers published in international and national journals to her credit and have participated in many conferences, seminars, workshops, symposiums and presented many papers and more than 80 posters at various national and international level conferences. She is member of various professional bodies like ISP (Indian Society of Pharmacognosy), IPA (Indian Pharmaceutical Association), ISTE and NIF (National Innovation Foundation). She has co authored five posters won different prizes at International and National level seminars and conferences of medicinal plant research. I have been invited as reviewer for many journals with high impact factor of publishers like Elsevier, Taylor and Francis and Willey and for Tata Mceen Graw hill Book publishers. I am a recognized postgraduate and Ph.D. guide at Nirma University. Research area of my interest include Phytopharmacological screening of drugs of natural origin and novel drug development approach for bioactiveswith specific reference to neurodegenrative conditions and wounds, analysis of unexplored natural drugs and herbal cosmetics and formulations.
