Dr. Parin D. Shah

Biography

Dr. Shah is a BEE (Bureau of Energy Efficiency, New Delhi) Certified Energy Auditor, Member of Environment Audit Team of Nirma University. He has received Best Student Award - GOLD MEDAL in M.Tech (2006). He is involved in various professional activities like member of GCCI (Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry) Environment Committee, Invitee Technical Member of Board of Directors of The Green Environment Services Co-op. Society Ltd., Vatva, Technical expert for ‘Environment Clinic’ – concept initiated by GPCB to provide technical guidance to the industrial units. He is also appointed as a committee member of Board of Studies in Institute of Forensic Sciences, Gujarat Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar. He is registered Member of ‘Gold Club’ initiated by Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat (KCG) established by the Department of Education, Government of Gujarat. He is a member of the state level committee constituted by Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) to study the pollution potential of dye and dyes intermediates and also to decide the state level policy for permitting such units in the state of Gujarat. Dr. Shah received the ISTE-IPCL National Award for guiding Best M.Tech. Thesis in Chemical Engineering (Energy System) -2015 (Second Prize) during 45th ISTE National Annual Convention at Amravati on 10th January, 2016 - M.Tech. Thesis entitled "Energy Efficiency Improvement in MSME Sector in Gujarat". Dr. Parin Shah received the ISTE-IPCL National Award for guiding Best M.Tech. Thesis titled "Pinch Analysis and Process Integration in Petrochemical Plant" in Chemical Engineering (Energy System) - 2016 (First Prize) during 46th ISTE National Annual Convention at Gulzar Group of Institutes, Khanna, Ludhiana (Punjab) on 11th February, 2017.
