Biography

Dr. Praneti Shah holds Masters in management from Gujarat University and Doctorate in operations and marketing management (services sector) from S.P. University. Her doctoral research resulted into development of localized framework of operations that leads to productivity enhancement through cost reduction in services sector. She suggested application of SKU Rationalization model to control inventory and by that way to downsize the operations. After her doctorate she was offered consulting in operations area. She has given consulting particularly to start-ups and SME’s. She assisted clients into operations domain specific to cost reduction and productivity enhancement and also into the development of marketing strategies through predictive and descriptive data analytics. She acted as an external consumer research panel member of Adani Wilmar Limited for new product launches. She started her career as a core academician in the area of operations and marketing. She has acted in the capacity of a full-time faculty member, university paper setter-exam moderator and research coordinator . She also remained a visiting faculty in the areas of research, operations and supply chain management at various universities of Gujarat. She has various national and international publications to her credit. In total she puts in thirteen years of work experience. Along with her teaching as a career, she extended her background with doctoral research and post that addressed research driven consulting domain .Thus she is striving to represent herself in the combination of teaching-research-consulting domains as an academician
