Biography
Dr. R N Patel has an experience of more than 25 years in the field of Teaching, Research & Industry. He has published number of papers in the area of renewable energy, energy conservation, energy management, energy policy, supercritical fluid extraction etc in International referred Journals and presented/published more than 70 papers in International Conferences/Proceedings. He also has a U S patent at his credit. The prestigious ISTE national award – CVM, Gujarat award for best engineering college teacher in Gujarat state for year 2010 was conferred on him. He is also awarded with ISTE-GSFC National Award guiding for Best M tech Thesis in Mechanical Engineering for the year 2011. He is also the member of Boards of Studies of M S University of Baroda, Dr. R N Patel is a reviewer of international referred journals in the field of Renewable Energy, Energy management, Fuel, etc. He is actively involved in consultancy, research and testing in the area of Mechanical Engineering. He has received research grant from DST and GUJCOST for three sponsored projects. His research interests include Renewable Energy, Bio Fuels, Biomass Gasification, Supercritical Fluid Extraction, etc. He has guided more than 40 PG dissertations.He has guided 03 research scholars towards their doctoral degree.Currently, he is guiding three Ph.D. students.
