Dr. Richa Mishra

Biography

Dr Richa Mishra is heading the Section of Humanities in the Department of Mathematics and Humanities.She is recipient of Indo-Shastri Canadain Grant for the year 2015-16 and was a visiting scholar to Memorial University,Canada. She has worked on a funded research grant on Higher Order Thinking Skills in Higher Education.She was coordinator of the Academic Development and Research Cell ( ADR Cell) of the University which is the beacon for all, and is involve in the conceptualization of Outcome Based Education, Curriculum reforms and new pedagogical interventions among other areas. She is Language Editor of University Newsletter and editorial member of two international journals. She is also member BOS - Jt Board of Studies and member - Faculty of Technology and Engineering ( FoTE). She is member of IQAC committee for Institute of Technology-NU. Dr Mishra was also the Program Committee member for the Track -Engineering Education for Nirma University International Conference on Engineering ( NUiCONE 2015) A prolific writer, she writes both for popular and academic journals. She is Media Coordinator for the institute and official Handler of social media account of the institute. Current Activities : Usage of Blogs and Wikis in Higher Education, Researching curriculum impact, Teaching Critical Thinking, Principal Invesitgator - Inclusion of Higher Order Thinking Skills in Curriculum (Research Grant by University)
