Biography
Dr. Vishal Jani is an Assistant Professor in Economics and Finance area at Institute of Management, Nirma University. Prior to this, he has worked for a year as an Assistant Professor with Goa Institute of Management (GIM). He has completed his doctoral study in Economics from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He also has completed Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) from Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Government Dental College and Hospital, Ahmedabad- Gujarat University. Post his MBA, he worked for two years with a charitable rural healthcare organization called H M Patel Centre for Medical Care and Education as a Management Executive for 2 years. His areas of interest are Human Development, Globalization, Health Economics and Policy.
