Biography
Prof. Deepak Danak has been in academics for more than three decades. Before joining the Institute in 2002, he had held various positions in different universities. During his association with the Nirma University, he has worked as Chairman - Economics & Finance Area, Chairman - Executive Education Centre and Chairman - Executive Club of Ahmedabad. He has participated in several national and international conferences and presented research papers. He has also got a few papers published in national and international journals. He has conducted several Management Development Programmes, including In-house MDPs for Zydus Cadila, Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation, Nirma Limited, IPCL, Mundra Port & SEZ, Intas Pharma, Indian Air Force, and GSFC. He was awarded UGC Fellowship for M. Phil. Studies, and UGC Fellowship for Ph. D. Studies. He was also awarded the CRMS Fellowship by IIM (A) for undergoing its Faculty Development Programme. He is into research for twenty eight years. His current research interests are capital markets and value creation.
