Biography
Ms. Foram Bhavsar is an Assistant Professor at Institute of Architecture, Nirma university. She completed her graduation from M.S.University, Baroda and Post Graduation from Dessau Institute of Architecture (Bauhaus) Germany. She started her career working with eminent Architects in Mumbai and Ahmedabad. She worked comprehensively on varied typology of projects such as residential, institutional, Urban design etc. She has been associated with Academics since 2013. She has taught subjects like Design Studio, History of Architecture, Building Construction, Biomimetic Design, Design Principles etc. She has keen interest in History of Architecture and Computational Design. She believes that the knowledge of history and efficiency of digital tools together expand the possibilities of creating built environment that is fit to respond to challenges of our own time and times to come. Her experiences with people from different background & cultures drive her worldview. Her deep sense of responsibility and intuitive initiatives towards Academics as well as Profession are the driving force for her.
