Biography
Prof. Trivedi is a human resource professional with over two decades of practicing experience in industry, which includes six years as head of the function. Prof. Trivedi‘s professional experience spans across functions such as recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, administration and employee relations. Having moved to the academia in 2003, Prof. Trivedi currently teaches courses in Human Resource Management, Written Communication, and Organisation Structure, Design & Dynamics in the Masters programmes of the Institute of Management, Nirma University. Apart from this, Prof. Trivedi also teaches courses in Strategic Human Resource Management, and Teaching Learning Process in the Doctoral Pprogramme of the Institute. Corporate training is an area of special interest and Prof. Trivedi has been regularly teaching at in-house management training programmes for different private and public sector organizations. Performance Management, Communication in Organisations and Written Communication are areas of her expertise and special interest. Prof. Harismita Trivedi has a bachelor’s degree in arts (BA) with a specialization in Economics and a masters in business administration (MBA), both from Gujarat University. She is also a fellow of the Academy of HRD, having qualified through its Doctoral Level Programme offered in collaboration with The Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur. Current Activities : Faculty co-ordinator for corporate relations activities of the Institute, Area Co-ordinator for Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management Area
