Biography
Prof. Hemanth Kamplimath is currently working as an Asst. Professor, Dept of Civil Engineering, Nirma University. He has completed his B.E from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Bangalore and M.Tech in Highway Technology from R.V College of Engineering, Bangalore. He specializes in Highway and Transportation engineering. He has handled subjects for UG program such as, Dock Harbor and Airport Engineering ,Transportation Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Environmental and Energy Studies, Advanced Construction, Traffic Engineering and Design and Transportation Planning. He has a work experience of 3.5 years. He was associated with IISc Bangalore for the research project "Performance of Flyovers and Subways in Bangalore city". He has also worked with URS-Scott Wilson for a NHAI project , Traffic forecasting for NH-63. His research interests are in the field of Transport Planning, Traffic engineering and Intelligent Transportation Systems.
