Biography
Prof. S. H. Desai has been working as an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department, Institute of Technology, Nirma University since November 2013. Before joining Nirma University, He had worked at two other Institutes. He has completed graduation in Mechatronics Engineering from G. H. Patel College of Engineering and Technology affiliated to Sardar Patel University in 2009. He has obtained M.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Machine Design from Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidhyalaya affiliated to Gujarat Technological University in 2012. His areas of interest are Machine Tool Design and Mechatronics. Prof. Desai has completed dissertation work in the area of Design of Machine Tool . The title of dissertation topic was 'Design of Centrifugal Casting Machine for manufacturing of turbine bearing. He has published papers in National and International Conference. Current Activities : Guiding students for Mini Project-1, Co-coordinator of Mini Project-1
