Biography
Prof. Sonal Thakkar is currently working as Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering Department, Nirma University. She has done her Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyla in 1993. She completed her Master Degree in Structural Engineering from M.S University Baroda in 1996. She is currently pursuing in Doctrol degree from Nirma University. She has more than 4.5 years of industrial experience and over 16 years of teaching experience . She is involved in teaching Design of Structures, Engineering Mechanics, Earthquake Resistant Design and Concrete Technology at Under graduate level and at Post Graduate level she has taught Structural dynamics, Earthquake Engineering and Advance Material. She has guided 9 M.Tech CASAD thesis. She is currently working in area of sustainable development and geopolymer concrete. She has presented large number of papers in National and International conference.
