Research Interest
My research group interested in understanding the role of the DEAD-Box RNA helicase genes in regulating molecular mechanism of multiple abiotic stress responses in model plant system Arabidopsis thaliana using a range of molecular genetics, cell biology and functional genomics approaches. My group is also establishing multiplex CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing system for developing resistance to abiotic and biotic stress resistance in plants using Tomato (S. lycopersicum L.) as a crop model and Arabidopsis as a plant model.
