Biography
DR. Mubarak Husain did his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from AMU,Aligarh in 1981,M.Sc. in Chemistry(Organic Chemistry) from AMU, Aligarh in 1976,B.Sc.(Hons) in Chemistry from AMU,Aligarh in 1974.
Research Interest
Research interest involves the design and synthesis of modified nitrogenous steroids, indoleheterocycles, amines and amino acids. Interpretation of UV, IR and high resolution NMR and structure elucidation of organic compounds on the basis of analytical and spectral data. Designed and synthesized a number of cyanocholestanes, aza and oxacholestanes (cyanocholestanes form a significant contribution to the existing literature), indole derivatives and amines.
