Naveen Gullapalli

Biography

Naveen Gullapalli currently is Head of Novartis Business Services in India. He is responsible for leading Novartis' multi-functional multi-divisional global centres in India with about 5000 associates. He also leads Strategy and Governance for all of Novartis five global centres. He serves on the Novartis Healthcare India Board and Country Executive Committee. As Site Head, Naveen heads the 'captive' global centre of the $60B Novartis corporation, with operations in Research & Development, Commercial, Medical, Scientific, Finance, IT and Procurement services. Prior to this role, Naveen held various leadership roles at Thomson Reuters (formerly Reuters Group PLC) in Bangalore India and Geneva, Switzerland, in Finance and Customer Service global operations, developing large global business service centers of excellence in Europe and India over the last 18 years. A chartered accountant by qualification, he previously worked in consulting and finance roles with with firms such as PricewaterhouseCoopers and Satyam Computers. He has lived and worked in four countries, works in a diverse and global team and very much enjoys working with people from around the world. He is a member of Nasscom GIC national council and an active industry speaker.
