Nimita Limaye

Biography

"Dr Nimita Limaye at present heads up FSP business and the clinical data management (CDM) and medical writing (MW) functions at SIRO Clinpharm, a leading CRO in Mumbai. Holding a masters degree in microbiology, and both an M.Phil and a doctorate in biotechnology, Nimita has also groomed herself in business development, and is trained as a six sigma blackbelt. These qualifications, garnished with more than a decade’s experience in organizations such as Altana Pharma, Quintiles, and SIRO, has enabled her to hone not only her own skills and competencies, but also to develop and lead her team members to high performance levels. No wonder, therefore, that Nimita is a much sought after speaker on the difference areas of her workscape, both in industrial forums (such as DIA) and academic forums (such as Academy of Clinical Excellence, Mumbai, and Symbiosis Center for Health Care, Pune). Besides, Nimita has also received well-deserved recognition from professional bodies such as the Indian Society of Clinical Research (ISCR) and the Society for Clinical Data Management (SCDM). In SCDM, she has been elected as the first non-North American Vice Chair for 2010."
