Biography

Dr. Y.S.Varalakshmi is a Consultant Infertility Specialist and Gynaecologist at Oasis Centre for Reproductive Medicine. She is a renowned expert in the field of gynaecology and obstetrics with over 14 years of extensive experience. She brings with her great passion for women issues and uses her strong experience to work with our other doctors to provide the best care to our patients. Her process oriented approach complements Dr. Durga’s expertise for the complete IVF cycle management and ensures that the couple are well informed and follow the best treatment plan. Along with handling high risk cases of gynaecological issues, she is well-versed in minor procedures such as Pap Smear, Cryo-Cauterization, Copper T Insertions, Hysteroscopy and others. She has also assisted in major surgeries like TAH, TLH, Vaginal Hysterectomy and Tubal Recanalization etc. Prior to working with Oasis, she has worked in several prestigious institutions around the world like the Apollo Hospitals, Hospitals, St. Mary’s and NHS-United Kingdom.
