Biography
Dr. Rao is presently working as Director, Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology at Hyderabad. He was felicitated as "The Great Son of the Soil" conferred by the Governor of Andhra Pradesh. He is also the President of Indian Biophysical Society. He has several publications in JMB, Biochemistry, Biochemical Journal, Journal of Physics, Canadian Journal of Physics, Photochemistry and Photobiology etc. His research interests include Molecular Biology and Biophysics, Protein folding, molecular chaperones and heat shock proteins in health and disease, DNA diagnostics, and Nanobiology.
