Biography

Shri Rabinarayan Panda , holds a Master’s degree in science , CAIIB and CDCS from IFS-UK. Presently, he is the Chief General Manager, IDBI Bank Limited and Zonal Head, South – I (RBG) covering two states – Tamil Nadu & Kerala. He has rich and diversified experience of 34 years in commercial banking and 27 years of experience in international trade, Transaction Banking Member of ICC – Paris, DOCDEX (Documentary Credit Dispute Resolution Expertise) Member for trade disputes. He has also held the position of technical expert in Banking technique & practice for India and member of FEDAI Technical Committee & Executive Council Member of ICC- India .He has 19 years of experience in IOB in various capacities and has worked in urban, semi- urban , metro and rural branches.. He joined IDBI Bank Limited in the year 2000 and has held the position of Vice President till the merger of IDBI Bank Limited and IDBI. He was appointed as the Chief General Manager of IDBI in April 2014. He has handled various profiles in the area of Retail Banking, Transaction banking, Rural credit, Centralized operation/process and Government business. His areas of interest include Global trade finance, Cash Management solutions, innovative banking, e-trade solutions, IT mediated solutions, Global trade dispute resolution and retail lending.
