Biography

  AJIT BENDRE DIRECTOR – FINANCE, ADMN. & ASSOCIATION SECRETARYAjit has been associated with OPPI for close to two decades. In charge of the Administration and Secretarial work, Ajit manages the financial affairs and statutory compliances of OPPI. He has devised and implemented the revised systems and procedures, including policy documents. He is responsible for the financial discipline and cost containment in OPPI. Prior to OPPI, Ajit had served in the Finance Division of Hoechst Marion Roussel Ltd for 18 years where he has had exposure to International Accounting Practices. He has also had stints with Datamatics Corporation and Air India. Ajit is a graduate in Commerce from the Mumbai University and has completed several certified courses in Law, Accounting and Finance.

PRIOR TO OPPI, AJIT HAD SERVED IN THE FINANCE DIVISION OF HOECHST MARION ROUSSEL LTD FOR 18 YEARS WHERE HE HAS HAD EXPOSURE TO INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTING PRACTICES. HE HAS ALSO HAD STINTS WITH DATAMATICS CORPORATION AND AIR INDIA. AJIT IS A GRADUATE IN COMMERCE FROM THE MUMBAI UNIVERSITY AND HAS COMPLETED SEVERAL CERTIFIED COURSES IN LAW, ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE.
