Biography
In 1988 she joined as Assistant Professor, She was promoted to Professor in 1999 and served as Head, Department of Biochemistry, Coordinator DST-FIST (2005- 07). She also served as Director for Reservation cell, OU 2000-2004. She did her postdoctoral training at University of Pennsylvania, USA in 1993. She was selected as Member of Rotary International as Educationist from India to visit Mexico on exchange program. Research Interest
Her Major Research is the field of Regulation of Calcium, Calpain, trigging agents in various pathological conditions in hereditary anemias and molecular diagnosis. In addition, her contributions to the field of genetic toxicology, diabetes, leukemia's and nutrition, forms her other areas of research.
