Biography
Professor of Zoology, University College of Science, Osmania University, Hyderabad, Telangana, Inda. He has done his M.Sc. in Zoology with Environmental Biology and Toxicology specialization from Osmania University in 1992, Ph.D. in Zoology in 2000 from Osmania University, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. He did his M.Phil in Animal Sciences in the field of Eco-goxicology from University of Hyderabad, Telangana, India in the year 1994. He has 20 yrs of teaching experience in both UG and PG and has 22 years of Research exceprience. Produced 7 Ph.Ds and at present 7 Research Scholars are working in the fields of Environmental Biology, Texicology, Genetics, Reproductive Biology, Occupational Health Hazards, Fisheries and Limnology. He has completed 2 minor project and a major project funded by UGC. He has more than 40 Research publications in reputed International and National Journals and has authored 8 text books on fisheries, a Govt. of A.P. Publication and a practical manual on Fisheries. He has edited and also authored 6 practical manuals for Post graduate students. He is a member in various scientific and academic bodies of the college, other constitutent colleges of Osmania University and other State Universities. He has organized 2 National Conference and symposiums. He has also actively involved in various training, demonstration camps for transformation of scientific technology to fishermen folks in Telangana State, India.
