P. Siva Kumar

Biography

Dr. P. Siva Kumar holds a Doctorate degree in Biochemistry from Osmania University, Hyderabad. Subsequent to his Doctoral Degree, he worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in USA (American Health Foundation, New York and Brown University, Providence). He has more than two decades of experience in the healthcare industry and has been associated with introducing newer technologies in the Indian Diagnostics industry. Siva Kumar started his career with Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited and has become the Country Manager, Dade Behring Diagnostics in India when Ranbaxy divested its diagnostics business to Dade Behring Inc. Subsequently, he became the Managing Director of Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics when Dade Behring was acquired by Siemens Healthcare globally. Prior to joining the Trivitron Group as the MD of Maxivision Group, Dr. Siva Kumar was the Country Manager at Agilent Technologies for about 5 years. In his role at Agilent, Siva Kumar was responsible for the overall LS AG Business growth and customer support in India managing revenue of $ 120 M. He was responsible for establishing strategies to further grow the business and make Agilent the market leader in the Analytical Instrument segment in India. Prior to Agilent & Maxivision, he has been heading the Analytical Instruments Division at Thermo Fisher Scientific. While at Thermo Fisher Scientific he has been responsible for establishing processes and brings the Mass Spectrometry business to a higher level. Dr. Siva Kumar joined one of the associated businesses of Trivitron Healthcare as the Managing Director of Maxivision Analytical Laboratories and is also closely associated with Maxivision Eye Hospitals and other businesses of Trivitron and Maxivision Group. In his current role as the CEO of Trivitron Healthcare Private Limited., Dr. Siva Kumar will be based out of Chennai and will be driving the healthcare verticals of the group and will be responsible for expanding the business and introducing newer technologies in IVD and Imaging Industries. Siva Kumar is widely known in the Healthcare, Clinical Diagnostics and Analytical Instrumentation circles and his main thrust has been to establish customer focused service support system and provide ideal solutions to the customers.
