Patrice Spath

Biography

atrice Spath is an adjunct faculty for the Masters of Healthcare Administration and the Bachelors of Health Science programs at Pacific. She has over 30 years of healthcare experience in health information management, quality improvement, patient safety and resource management. She has authored numerous books and journal articles on these topics and has presented more than 300 educational programs and training workshops for providers throughout the U.S. Patrice holds a Master’s degree in Management from American Public University, a B.A. in Management and Health Information from Marylhurst University, and has an RHIT (registered health information technician) credential. She is also an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Health Services Administration at the University of Alabama, Birmingham where she teaches quality and patient safety courses and a guest lecturer in the patient safety course in the Masters of Science in Medical and Healthcare Simulation at Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia. Patrice is an adjunct faculty for the Bachelor of Health Science, Master of Healthcare Administration, and Healthcare Compliance Certificate programs.
