Biography
Dr. Nishith Desai joined PDPU on 1st March 2016. He has over 14 years of professional experience in academia and as an active researcher. He is also a developer in the Solar Thermal Simulator, which is developed a part of the project "Development of a Megawatt-scale Solar Thermal Power Testing, Simulation and Research Facility". The project is sponsored by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India. His research involves energy systems modeling and optimization, solar thermal plant design and optimization, waste heat recovery, and software development.
