Biography
Dr. Vimal Savsani has obtained his PhD from SV National Institute of Technology, Surat with the specialization in advanced meta-heuristics and its applications to mechanical design problems. He was also a post-doctoral fellow at Thompson Rivers University, BC, Canada. He has developed an effective optimization technique called 'Teaching -learning based optimization (TLBO)' during his doctoral research. He has also developed two more optimization techniques called 'Heat transfer search (HTS) and 'Passing vehicle search (PVS)' along with his research team. He has published one book in springer and many reputed International Journal papers in Elsevier, IEEE, Springer and Taylor and Francis.
