Biography
Arun Chandru is a co-founder of Pandorum Technologies, a Bangalore based startup working in the field of tissue engineering. Pandorum designs and manufactures functional 3D human tissues intended for medical research and therapeutic applications. The company, supported by BIRAC and located at CCAMP and BBC, has received notable awards including the Bio-Excellence award by Govt. of Karnataka and ABLE in 2016, and the ET Startup Award in top innovator category in 2017. Arun Chandru, also a PhD researcher in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, was featured in the Forbes Asia ‘30 under 30’ Health care and Science list of 2016.
