Biography
"Dr. Latika Sharma, Professor in Department of Education has been into research and teaching of since 1990. She has taught Maths at school level for 2 years, in Bed colleges affiliated to Mumbai University for 4 years and is teaching at Panjab University since 2000. Eleven Doctoral researches supervised by her have been awarded and 8 research scholars are currently pursuing research in areas of women empowerment, ecological math, brain based learning, bullying, persistence in distance learners. Initiatives in extension include creation of content for Jyotirgamya- PU Community Radio by involving research scholars, recording oral history of PU alumni and extension lectures. She believes in collaborative approach for networking of ideas and resources for optimum utilization of resources for education and development."
