Biography
"Manjula Mehta serving as Associate Proff and Head, Deptt. of Microbiology, Dr.HSJI of Dental Sc. And Hospital, Panjab University, Chandigarh from 4th May 2007 onwards. Awarded Acworth Leprosy Hospital Research Society award for the best paper published entitled “Urinary excretion of renal brush border enzymes in lepromatous leprosy - a preliminary investigation” at the XVI All India Biennial Conference of Indian Association of Leprologists held at Trichur, Kerala, 1989. Total Post Ph.D Experience : 21 years approx. Special training in Molecular Biology Techniques for 2 weeks at Central Jalma Institute for Leprosy, Agra and learnt various techniques pertaining to the application of probes for identification of mycobacteria and various other techniques used in molecular biology during Ph.D. She authored 28 publications in peer reviwed journals. "
