Biography
Dr.M.Jeyaseelan is the Assistant Professor of the Department of Sociology at Periyar University. He pursued M.A., M.Phil., Ph. D in Sociology. His Area of Specialisation is Social Gerontology and Rural Sociology. He is Chaired the session in the UGC-Sponsored National seminar on Ageing and Elderly Persons in India: Perspectives and Issues organized by Department of Sociology and Population Studies, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore during March 05-06, 2014.
