Biography
Dr. P. Jayanthi is the Assistant Professor of the Department of Environmental Science at Periyar University. She pursued MSc in Environmental Sciences - Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India. and Ph. D in Environmental Science - Salim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History (SACON), affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India. Her Area of Specialisation is Ecotoxicology and Biomonitoring. She Received Proficiency Award for Undergraduate studies – NKR Govt Arts and Science College for Women, Namakkal between 1999 – 2002.
