Biography
R.Subramani is the Assistant Professor of the Department of Journalism and Mass communication. He pursued his Masters in Communication (M.A) University of Madras (Regular), 1997 and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Communication-Tamil (Interdisciplinary), University of Madras (Regular), 2005. His Area of Specialisation is Tamil Journalism, Social cultural history of tamil media. ICT. He Visited University of Colone, Colone, Germany to present paper in an International conference on Tamil Internet 2009 organized by The Institute of Indology and Tamil Studies of the University of Cologne, Germany and the Information forum for Technology in Tamil, United states of America, October 2009
