Biography
Dr. R. Venkatachalapathy is the Professor of the Department of Geology at Periyar University. He pursued his M.Sc. in Bharathidasan University, India and Ph.D. in University of Madras, Chennai 600 0025, India. His Area of Specialisation : Micropaleontology, Stratigraphy, Environmental Geology.He Conducting classes for M.Sc., Applied Geology, M.Sc., Earth Science (Integrated 5 Year), M.Phil., Geology, M.Tech., Exploration Geology & Geoinformatics students of Periyar University and handling the subjects of Micropaleontology, Paleontology, Stratigraphy, Mining Geology, Mineralogy, Fuel Geology etc. Also conducting departmental seminars.
