Biography
Mr. Gottfred Langseth has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Petroleum Geo-Services ASA since January 1, 2004. He joined the Company in November 2003. He was Chief Financial Officer of the information technology company Ementor ASA from 2000 to 2003. Mr. Langseth was Senior Vice President of Finance and Control at the offshore engineering and construction company Aker Maritime ASA from 1997 to 2000. He worked at Arthur Andersen Norway from 1991 to 1997. Mr. Langseth was certified as a Norwegian state-authorized public accountant in 1993 and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration.
