Biography
Mr. Guillaume Cambois has served as Executive Vice President, Imaging and Engineering at Petroleum Geo-Services ASA (PGS) since May 2010. He joined the Company in 2007 as Senior Advisor for Spearheading Deployment at PGS’ GeoStreamer Technology. He took over as Marine Contract President, Asia-Pacific in March 2009 and in May 2010 advanced to Executive Vice President, Imaging and Engineering. During a 20-year career at the geophysical services company CGG prior to joining PGS, Guillaume Cambois held various executive management posts, such as Executive Vice President, Data Processing and Chief Technology Officer. An active member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists, he was the Society’s Vice President in 2007/2008 and Director at Large from 2013 till 2016. Mr. Cambois received his Ph.D. in Geophysics from the University of Texas at Austin.
