Ajith Vasudevan

Biography

Ajith has over 16 years of experience in leading large teams to deliver superlative outcomes across several industries. He enjoys creating solutions where there is no defined path and then establishing processes and systems to ensure the solution is repeatable, efficient and scalable. As SVP - Strategy at Pidilite, Ajith is responsible for developing, implementing and embedding corporate strategy, leading transformation programs and incubating new business models. In his leadership roles at Pearson, Diageo India, McKinsey & Company and Cadbury India, Ajith created significant change across several areas of Operations Management (including Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Distribution, and Customer Service and Procurement) as well as Organization structure, strategy and Sales in various geographies. Ajith is obsessed about (and confounded by) the human thought process and this overriding passion has morphed into several deep and long-abiding interests in Artificial Intelligence, history of Philosophy, Persian mystical poetry and astrology.
