Mr. Rajesh Joshi

Biography

As CEO, Rajesh is scaling up the operations for further development of ICA Pidilite – a 50-50 JV between Pidilite Industries Ltd and ICA Spa, Italy. The company is setting up a plant in India for high end wood finishes like polyurethane (PU) and Polyesters and Rajesh is responsible for its growth. His vision is to make ICA Pidilite the best solution provider for high end wood finishes segment in the Indian sub-continent. Rajesh’s earlier stint at Pidilite was in 2013 as President – Strategic Initiative, where he strengthened systems and processes across divisions while facilitating talent building and capability development across the group’s managerial cadre. Prior to Pidilite, Rajesh served as COO of Bharti Airtel, Ltd from 2011. His responsibility spanned all operations of Airtel in Maharashtra and Goa and included Sales & Distribution, Marketing and Customer Service. At Future Group, Rajesh was Zone Head (West) for Pantaloon Retail. He was responsible for the P & L for 45 large stores and a many smaller stores. The zone spanned 5500 employees and had an annualised turnover of Rs1600 Crores. Rajesh is a graduate of Electronics and Telecommunication and holds an MBA in marketing. He loves travelling and exploring new places, reading up about current affairs and listening to music. His personal vision is to set the highest standards of personal ethics and professional integrity and be an inspirational leader.
