Biography

Sabyasachi is an eminent Operations (Supply Chain & Manufacturing) professional with over 25 years' experience in the Chemicals sector. In every role he has held, he has prioritised safety and has introduced initiatives to make the workplace safer than it was yesterday. He enjoys solving complex problems and believes in the power of the Six Sigma approach. Robust processes and systems are the mainstay of any organisation and Sabyasachi continuously challenges and evolves them. He strongly believes that each and every individual should derive immense pleasure at work and strives to lead his team to deliver enhanced performance while enjoying what they do. Prior to Pidilite, Sabyasachi has served as President at Aditya Birla Group where he was also the Managing Director at Alexandria Carbon Black, Alexandria, Egypt and as General Manager at Asian Paints. He has completed his Advance Management Program at University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School and completed his B .Tech, Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi. He is passionate about soft rock music and travel. Sabyasachi’s inspirational quote "...there will be sunshine after rain, these things have always been the same."
