Robert D Booth

Biography

A veteran professional in property development with extensive experience in development, sales and marketing, Robert D. Booth was the former Chief Executive Officer of the Real Estate business segment of Emaar Properties PJSC. Mr. Booth has been involved in real estate development in five continents around the globe. Mr. Booth played a pivotal role in Emaar's growth as Executive Director – Sales & Marketing and Development from 2000 to 2006, in the company's home market, Dubai, and other international markets. He then assumed charge as Chief Executive Officer of Emaar North America, managing Emaar Canada and other businesses of the company in the region. In his current role as Chief Executive Officer – Real Estate, Mr. Booth oversees the functions of Sales & Marketing, Development, Construction and all customer-facing departments (Customer Care, Property Handover, and Property Transfer) as well as Emaar's property services company, Hamptons. Prior to joining Emaar in 2001, he was Director of Development at Concord Adex Developments Corporation in Toronto, Canada, which was part of the Concord Pacific Group of Companies from 1994 to 2001. He also served as Development Manager of Pacific Place Holdings Ltd, Vancouver, and led the Special Projects division of Concord Pacific Corporation. Mr. Booth graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Simon Fraser University. He earned a Master of Arts degree in Real Estate Development and Planning at the University of British Columbia.
